Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludomir Zacharek kicked off to start the match. Dominik Brysz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Cezary Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Ludomir Zacharek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Betão Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Carita in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GKS Katowice's Dominik Brysz. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Dominik Brysz got a free kick in the 25th minute. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomir Zacharek in the 37th minute. Tomas Berganza scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GKS Katowice's Olgierd Sokolski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matthew Garrido, made in the 41st minute of the game. The supporters of Panama booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Kiszkiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Zacharek, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Cezary Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

GKS Katowice made a substitution. Lucjan Werra replaced Ludomir Zacharek. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. After 52 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Cwojdak. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Carita made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miguel Miralles immediately put the ball in play. In the last second Betão Pontes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Betão Pontes made a huge save. With a little luck, GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Aaron Barrios put in a rough tackle. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betão Pontes. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. Cezary Kasiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miguel Miralles in the 94 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Olgierd Cwojdak got a free kick in the 95th minute. The GKS Katowice manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Panama to win.
