Dráuzio Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JURIDIQUES F.C the free kick. In the 8th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 10th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Rebelo. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Germano Rebelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Toninho Pinho with Germano Rebelo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Germano Rebelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Rebelo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

JURIDIQUES F.C's Antônio Carlos Machado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 52 minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dráuzio Abraão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a JURIDIQUES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 56th minute. Luciano Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, JURIDIQUES F.C's Germano Rebelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germano Rebelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 73rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Carl-Chester Derby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to JURIDIQUES F.C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Davi Gerber hit a great ball. During the 86th minute of the match Guillermo Mariano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 87 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano.
