In the 2nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Germano Rebelo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 6th minute of play forced JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Rebelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Germano Rebelo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Germano Rebelo scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germano Rebelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Rebelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Germano Rebelo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Germano Rebelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Rebelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Luciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Germano Rebelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Germano Rebelo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Luciano Coutinho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in JURIDIQUES F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Dráuzio Abraão had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 4-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráuzio Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, JURIDIQUES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Pelé to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Abraão was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2.
