Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per Örtendal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Assyriska-Syrianska's Per Örtendal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 3-0 after 45 minutes of play.

Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jonny Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Malcolm Johnsson in the 64 minute of the game. When Malcolm Johnsson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assyriska-Syrianska's protests and gave Malcolm Johnsson a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the match, Assyriska-Syrianska's goalkeeper Torbjörn Stephansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Assyriska-Syrianska's Jonny Sjödin suffered a sprained foot after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Esteban Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Assyriska-Syrianska made a substitution. Olof Holmgren replaced Jonny Sjödin. The audience was convinced that Per Örtendal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Örtendal's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Assyriska-Syrianska's Torbjörn Stephansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Assyriska-Syrianska from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Sebastian Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Assyriska-Syrianska's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
