Germano Rebelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Rebelo to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dráuzio Abraão, passed just outside the right post. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
