The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 5th minute. Marko Ööpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armageddon's Marko Ööpik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marko Ööpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Armageddon's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Marko Ööpik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Armageddon's Giancarlo Antognoni in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Ööpik having to interfere. Marko Ööpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Armageddon defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marko Ööpik. The Armageddon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marko Ööpik should have stopped the shot. Inocencio Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Armageddon's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Ööpik came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Alvarado during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Armageddon booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Raik İhsan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raik İhsan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marko Ööpik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Marko Ööpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Raik İhsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Toomas Virkus in the 70 minute of the game. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Antognoni in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Armageddon got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giancarlo Antognoni ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Michel Legdeur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marko Ööpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Marko Ööpik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Armageddon's Marko Ööpik got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes Armageddon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. 93 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
