When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sansone Poso made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Zaid Malek came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Julen Casals in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. 84 minutes into the match, Real Llull de Reus's goalkeeper Sabri Erdoğan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. It was a well-played corner which Rafael Gallo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Llull de Reus had won after a very even match.
