In a very dangerous position, a player in OTTO FC - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Toni Nenchev took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Linares. Cafu Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cauã Koehler charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cauã Koehler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cauã Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volodya Biradzhiev to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Dênis Prata got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Magalhães got free with Vute Baliev in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 21 minutes, Gonzo Ivanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DARAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzo Ivanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ivanov came free, but Cafu Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Zahari Kerekov. Cafu Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Nenchev in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, DARAS's Toni Nenchev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 35 minutes into the game, João Augusto Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DARAS the free kick. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for DARAS. Gonzo Ivanov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cafu Linares. 0-4. 39 minutes into the game, Gonzo Ivanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Cafu Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragan Mangezov to maneuver through the defense. DARAS's Vute Baliev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save DARAS from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Dênis Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half DARAS were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toni Nenchev to strike the kick off in the second half. Gonzo Ivanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Pinho in the 54 minute of the game. Cafu Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzo Ivanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Nenchev kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. DARAS made a substitution. Paolo Rossi replaced Toni Nenchev. After 71 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Zahari Kerekov. Cafu Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzo Ivanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Linares came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov. But to his dismay, Gonzo Ivanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The DARAS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DARAS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
