Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Dunarea Galati's Manuel Muntian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Muntian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. When Manuel Muntian came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC Dunarea Galati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Muntian couldn't finish the play. After 27 minutes of play, FC Dunarea Galati's Manuel Muntian made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liviu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Sfetcu saved FC Dunarea Galati from getting behind. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dunarea Galati's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Dunarea Galati's Liviu Sfetcu did a great save. Nicodim Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Manuel Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Mihu in the 38th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodim Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigi Hurmuzescu during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Dunarea Galati fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
