In the 4th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Pascual Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Navarro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 10 minutes into the match, Generoso Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Generoso Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Hipolito Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Hipolito Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Navarro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Generoso Navarro took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 39 minutes into the game, Bartolo Matei threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hipolito Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Generoso Navarro lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Pedro Manzanares. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Navarro went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Indiano made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Cazalla however managed to control. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s goalkeeper Hipolito Igon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match, Axel Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hipolito Igon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 59 minutes ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Hipolito Igon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 61st minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Roberto Cabañas was substituted for Generoso Navarro. 66 minutes into the match, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Hipolito Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Roberto Cabañas. But to his dismay, Roberto Cabañas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 76th minute, Roberto Cabañas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Cabañas in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Roberto Cabañas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmed Cohen-Tannoudji was slow to take the kick. During this time ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Hipolito Igon got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Roberto Cabañas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
