In the 17th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Oteiza to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Emiliano Giusto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Giusto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes Old BaoBaB Accademy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick.

The wind increased when Emiliano Giusto made the kick off in the second half. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emiliano Giusto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Emilio Buffone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Old BaoBaB Accademy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Furia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Old BaoBaB Accademy were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
