Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torgny Landin started the match with the kick off. Torgny Landin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Paim Belluci having to interfere. Diogo Paim Macedo made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alexandre Paz Rocha immediately put the ball in play. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Barros Rosa in the 10th minute of play. Diogo Paim Macedo made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Boca Juniors's Lars Ekberg. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Barros Rosa in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Barros Rosa in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Källberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Özkan Kayaer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil the free kick. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rickard Löfgren hit a great ball. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Paz Rocha in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Rickard Löfgren got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Landin got free with Heitor Paim Belluci in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Lindholm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Heitor Paim Belluci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Heitor Paim Belluci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jens-Åke Källberg came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Murilo Barros Rosa. But to his dismay, Murilo Barros Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Paz Rocha in the 44th minute of play. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alexandre Paz Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Paz Rocha was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Brazil's Heitor Paim Belluci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Landin in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg got control of the ball when Alexandre Paz Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Paim Macedo in the 70th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Jens-Åke Källberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alexandre Paz Rocha in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Heitor Paim Belluci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Pedroso Kimura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jens-Åke Källberg made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Machado Cardoso in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boca Juniors's Oscar Lindholm. Brazil played a much better game than Boca Juniors and deserved their victory. The Boca Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
