The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Bo Yang came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Bo Yang in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 9th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Volponi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernard Kolano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Bernard Kolano made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Jeremie Frimpong fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 3-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Wen Bo Yang elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wen Bo Yang in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wen Bo Yang in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falco Pruischer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. After 41 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Who Ate All Depay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernard Kolano went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Jeremie Frimpong sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

After 56 minutes of play, Who Ate All Depay's Wen Bo Yang made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Falco Pruischer in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernard Kolano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Bo Yang came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Volponi in the 63rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Volponi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 63 played minutes Who Ate All Depay got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Licerio. Who Ate All Depay's Neninho Vicioso was substituted for Jeremie Frimpong. Who Ate All Depay's Roel Ravenbergen was substituted for Bernard Kolano. Who Ate All Depay's I-Made You was substituted for Alex Volponi. After 65 played minutes Who Ate All Depay got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Licerio. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neninho Vicioso in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Roel Ravenbergen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Bo Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Bo Yang came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Roel Ravenbergen put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. If Neninho Vicioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neninho Vicioso scored 10-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Roel Ravenbergen notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. I-Made You recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Bo Yang in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Who Ate All Depay fully deserved thier win.
