In the 21st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. 谢远鹏 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baba Ba made a kick off. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramón Camara came out and tried to block the shot, but Abraham Alguacil slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute Baba Ba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baba Ba in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢远鹏 in the 59th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Tomas Berganza got a free kick in the 85th minute.
