Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filip Soetemans started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hu Jian Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Filip Soetemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Filip Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hu Jian Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Hu Jian Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Sigvard Åkesson. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Soetemans came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match Fenerbahce ISTANBUL got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filip Soetemans ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Soetemans got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ye Xiang Zheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Lauaxeta in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes in the game Guillermo Mariano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomas Illescas. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Filip Soetemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Filip Soetemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jairo Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Filip Soetemans notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL made a substitution. Stefan Zweig replaced Henrik Henriksson. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's goalkeeper Hu Jian Zhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Lauaxeta in the 73rd minute of the match. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filip Soetemans in the 74th minute. Ye Xiang Zheng was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Soetemans in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Filip Soetemans made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Jairo Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Ronny Rau. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL had won after a very even match.
