Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kunter Akıncı took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nils-Erik Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Worst Team Ever's Nils-Erik Hermansson. Nils-Erik Hermansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Worst Team Ever's Kunter Akıncı ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Worst Team Ever were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bo Myhr took the corner. Bo Myhr made a great header on Worst Team Ever's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute, Worst Team Ever's Kunter Akıncı ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Nils-Erik Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Erik Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kunter Akıncı in the 45th minute of play. Worst Team Ever's Nils-Erik Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Worst Team Ever's Nils-Erik Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Worst Team Ever from getting a goal against them. When Worst Team Ever's Kunter Akıncı in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Luque made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo however managed to control. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Hermansson having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Bo Myhr got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nils-Erik Hermansson was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-3. A hard, long distance shot from Zebastian Rydelius flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Nils-Erik Hermansson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Myhr hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dan Berglund hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nils-Erik Hermansson but with some difficulty. 95 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Hermansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
