Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Abraham Alguacil made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Isidoro Sarmiento immediately put the ball in play. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wang Cheng having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wang Cheng saved Gärsnäs BF from getting behind. Sverker Ödman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Miguel Miralles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wang Cheng was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when George Hägglund came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Sverker Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Aaron Barrios was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. The referee gave Gärsnäs BF a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dane Friebe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. 1-0. Gärsnäs BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Tomas Berganza scored to the left of an out of position Wang Cheng, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of Panama booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Wang Cheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Tomas Berganza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Wang Cheng 77 minutes into the match. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Wang Cheng was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Ödman, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wang Cheng came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wang Cheng, 1-4. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wang Cheng having to make a save. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Panama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
