Jonathan Tabby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 11 minutes in the game Jose Carita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomas Berganza. In the 14th minute of the game Jose Carita made a throw-in which Tomas Berganza played forward. Jonathan Tabby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Alguacil's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Tabby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Tabby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Alex Cambeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Cambeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Tabby. Punta Alvear's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 45 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Sarmientos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Jonathan Tabby to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Punta Alvear's Justino Ederono quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felipe Ros, made in the 61st minute of the game. Jonathan Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's Tomas Berganza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Abraham Alguacil took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Tabby. Jonathan Tabby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Punta Alvear defense, Abraham Alguacil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Tabby. The Punta Alvear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Tabby should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Tabby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 80th minute. Jonathan Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Jonathan Tabby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 84th minute of play. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punta Alvear's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Abraham Alguacil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Tabby. That made the score 0-9 in the 87 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Jonathan Tabby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Berganza. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Punta Alvear.
