The audience was convinced that Wesley Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Wesley Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Donato in the 10th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmut Lossimäe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Lin Jing Yong shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Jonathan Ferrant was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Wesley Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wesley Donato fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 40th minute of the match, Joël Rétière tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 41 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lin Jing Yong who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lin Jing Yong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 played minutes Fc Kertzfeld got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Donato. In the 45thth minute of the game Wesley Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wesley Donato made the kick off in the second half. Fc Kertzfeld's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lin Jing Yong in the 61st minute. When Fc Kertzfeld's Wesley Donato in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Kertzfeld's Joël Rétière. But to his dismay, Joël Rétière quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Fc Kertzfeld's Paul-Henri Michalet was substituted for Alix Poulain. With a little luck, Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Edgar de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fc Kertzfeld getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. After 81 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lin Jing Yong in the 88th minute of play. The Fc Kertzfeld support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
