Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Alfons Stål scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Bondeträsk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The Bondeträsk FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
