Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Boniel in the 36th minute of play. Gustavo Scarpa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Moises Boniel succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Boniel made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Moises Boniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Boniel in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Honorato Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moises Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
