Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Liknes got the match started through his kick off. Christian Miljeteig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 31st minute. Daustad's Christian Miljeteig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Christian Miljeteig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Miljeteig quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Daustad's Christian Miljeteig managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Daustad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Daniel Zorita shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 47 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Miljeteig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Christian Miljeteig throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cristian Sancho in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dag Ose hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Christian Miljeteig threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Daniel Zorita this time. Luis Andino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Lars Obrestad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Miljeteig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Miljeteig having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Daustad's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Miljeteig came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øyvind Stokland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Christian Miljeteig made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Miljeteig having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Obrestad during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Lars Obrestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Miljeteig. Christian Miljeteig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
