Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Ree started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kristen Gulskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Kristen Gulskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Ree in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Axel Ree capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Ree really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Axel Ree struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monks in Robes. When Axel Ree came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Monks in Robes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Ree couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Albinus Alking could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Fidel Havier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Axel Ree in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kristen Gulskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Ree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristen Gulskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Axel Ree ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Ree scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Ree took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Axel Ree's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Kristen Gulskov in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristen Gulskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Kristen Gulskov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Albinus Alking. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
