But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Remus Vermeşan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 12th playminute. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Vărzaru, made in the 15th minute of the game. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Remus Vermeşan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 19th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Remus Vermeşan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Vermeşan got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Huștiu's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Huștiu helped the player get up and apologised. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Eduard Semeghin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduard Semeghin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Zgrăbunţa to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ciprian Sângeorzan hit a great ball. Francisco Seco in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rosendo Seguinus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Vermeşan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Remus Vermeşan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remus Vermeşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Eduard Semeghin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Felix Vărzaru made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Vermeşan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Semeghin during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Semeghin to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Eduard Semeghin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Eduard Semeghin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Victor Huștiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Remus Vermeşan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aron Zgrăbunţa hit a great ball.
