Maximiliano Escribano's late challenge caught a Capivara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Vinícius Junior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Capivara FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhang Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Junior in the 20th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Doriva Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Junior's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Junior in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Vinícius Junior cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Vinícius Junior. But to his dismay, Vinícius Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Doriva Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Mota. Vinícius Junior kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Vinícius Junior reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The audience was convinced that Vinícius Junior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Vinícius Junior. But to his dismay, Vinícius Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doriva Tavares's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Vinícius Junior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neycho Mudrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capivara FC made a substitution. Manoel Garrincha replaced João Francisco Mota. After having played for 83 minutes, Doriva Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capivara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Doriva Tavares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Tavares in the 95th minute of play. Joaquim Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capivara FC.
