Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simon Rameriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Prospero Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Muc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Muc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Muc. Maravilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Maravilla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Laurendi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Laurendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Prospero Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Paulo Arnau got a free kick in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Patricio Costa took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Prospero Muc to make any attempt to save it. After 65 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Arnau. Jeronimo Solustiano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a Maravilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. Prospero Muc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Paulo Arnau kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
