Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dinu Pelin started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Alin Cristaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Hollingsworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calvin Hollingsworth. Angelino Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Cazalla in the 25th minute of the match. Angelino Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Abancens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 47th minute of play. In the 49th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Club Atlétic Incles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelino Abancens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Harold Brabant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Abancens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelino Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Abancens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 64th match minute, Club Atlétic Incles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Pelin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlétic Incles's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Abancens came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Abancens made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
