After a defensive mix-up in Jereba 4EVER's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Trevisan came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Jereba 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Jereba 4EVER's Geovani Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Maicon Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jereba 4EVER getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. After 80 minutes Jereba 4EVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The Jereba 4EVER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
