Rodrigo Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 30th minute of the match. Rodrigo Palacios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Samuca Rossi's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. El Salvador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
