Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Arvin Svanberg had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Sandell came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Karen FC's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ma Yong Jun came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvin Svanberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. 23 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ma Yong Jun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Arvin Svanberg scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Karen FC's Slawomir Majak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Slawomir Majak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ma Yong Jun came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ma Yong Jun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Sandell in the 58th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Karen FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvin Svanberg in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Sandell in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seve Sevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Slawomir Majak. But to his dismay, Slawomir Majak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 80 minutes Karen FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ma Yong Jun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute, Rolando Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Rolando Estevez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ma Yong Jun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bon Guidetti in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
