Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. The audience thought a goal was coming when Legimin Sagala got free with Julio Vera in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Zjawin in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Liverpool Fans's goalkeeper Ruben Wilza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Liverpool Fans's Ruben Wilza. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ruben Wilza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legimin Sagala hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Terra in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Liverpool Fans's goalkeeper Ruben Wilza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
