In the 2nd minute, Oscar Giraldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 5th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Oscar Giraldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SMOCZANKA MIELEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Giraldo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Paraguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SMOCZANKA MIELEC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jacobo Nores, was totally fooled by SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Cezary Chrzan, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 20th minute, Paraguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roberto Lewandowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Oscar Giraldo scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Oscar Giraldo put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. After having played for 35 minutes, Dalmo Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Andrzej Brataniec replaced Bernard Cytrynski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Giraldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Chrzan in the 94th minute of the match. Timos Kazantzou took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. SMOCZANKA MIELEC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraguay for a fine match.
