Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonzalo Lixandro started the match with the kick off. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 6th minute of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Chuan Ran was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 23rd minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qiu Chuan Ran should have stopped the shot. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 33rd minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play. The corner led Peru's Moises Gayoso to a score. 0-4 in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran. Qiu Chuan Ran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Chuan Ran was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Peru were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Bras in the 58 minute of the game. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of play. Raimundo Ventura took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Moises Gayoso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With his leg Qiu Chuan Ran managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raimundo Ventura took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Qiu Chuan Ran made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Gallo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Qiu Chuan Ran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
