Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Franciszek Zukowski made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Franciszek Zukowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Franciszek Zukowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Franciszek Zukowski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Franciszek Zukowski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Franciszek Zukowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 4-0. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. If Franciszek Zukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Venegas made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AS Monaco FC's Tolek Badanowski. In the 45th minute Franciszek Zukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Zukowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 58th minute AS Monaco FC were awarded a corner. Mai Jian Sen went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Zukowski in the 59th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Franciszek Zukowski came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the AS Monaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franciszek Zukowski couldn't finish the play. Mai Jian Sen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Franciszek Zukowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Monaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Zukowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Franciszek Zukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witalis Gecionis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that AS Monaco FC were the better team. AS Monaco FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
