Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Santos Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Fontirroig in the 39th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Sacronas Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Hernan Crespo went to the cornerflag to take it. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Stanislao in the 58th minute of the match. Saul Lon hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Santos Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Sacronas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Kürşat Hamurcu. Santos Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute of play. Saul Lon hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Despite being the better team, Chile failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
