Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kacper Tobiáš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Noboa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Edin Džeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Edin Džeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Edin Džeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Massem Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kacper Tobiáš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 53rd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofil Skarpiak hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the game, F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Edin Džeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Edin Džeko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 88th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the F.C. Sosnowiec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
