Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernso Constant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvis Naranjo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gesner Philippe hit a great ball. Leocadio Babia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odon Montiel got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Angelino Roman. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Jacobo Paris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Jacobo Paris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Los once leones Ourense's Elvis Naranjo got control of the ball when Ernso Constant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Belmiro Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Emmanuel. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Haiti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
