Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Oftedal started the match with the kick off. Christoffer Gjelsvik hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes Suleskard's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebald Gentiletti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suleskard's goalkeeper Sebald Gentiletti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lars Oftedal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Lars Oftedal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Oftedal got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebald Gentiletti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebald Gentiletti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lars Oftedal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suleskard's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Oftedal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Nøttveit took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Oftedal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Suleskard made a substitution. Fredrik Molland replaced Alf Nøttveit. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Oftedal in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edvin Hilde who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Christoffer Gjelsvik managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the referee blew the final whistle, Suleskard could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
