Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dean Verbruggen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathijs de Zee kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Dave Otten threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Ivan Prats quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gilbert Fleur kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Dean Verbruggen came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. But to his dismay, Jaime Pardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Maurits Ruben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dean Verbruggen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 26th minute of play. Dave Otten made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. Dean Verbruggen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Covarrubias's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Mathijs de Zee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Gilbert Fleur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores skillfully saved the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Maurits Ruben who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, MVV Maastricht's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Dean Verbruggen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Maarten Colen made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Colen in the 58th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Colen in the 68th minute of play. Primitivo Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dean Verbruggen made a huge save. Dean Verbruggen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Maurits Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dean Verbruggen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 79th minute. MVV Maastricht's Dean Verbruggen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save MVV Maastricht from getting a goal against them. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Colen in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to MVV Maastricht getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ricky Mol hit a great ball. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maarten Colen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. MVV Maastricht were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
