Şenel Zeval received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 87th minute John Bratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvar Arvidsson. Alvar Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
