Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute Jose Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alzaga FC's Jose Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. When Adrián Czornomaz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Alzaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Czornomaz couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Czornomaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Murillo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Jose Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Joshua Secada suffered a sprained foot after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bernardino Lohitzun's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Lohitzun helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Murillo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jose Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ago Vaasna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Alzaga FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ago Vaasna came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Murillo in the 64th minute of play. Alzaga FC's attentive 조 내 managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Jose Murillo scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ago Vaasna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alzaga FC's Leon Goretzka was substituted for Jose Murillo. Alzaga FC's Jiang Shi Shi was substituted for Pan Lang Bin. In the 74th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Goretzka in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Leon Goretzka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Goretzka in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alzaga FC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrián Czornomaz took the corner. Alzaga FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
