The supporters of Ecuador booed when F.C. Sant Sabo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheng Le Xing. Cheng Le Xing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Cheng Le Xing slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. If Cheng Le Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
F.C. Sant Sabo's Mazuste Flores was substituted for Raúl Dagora. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, F.C. Sant Sabo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazuste Flores to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when F.C. After 69 minutes of play, F.C. Sant Sabo's Mazuste Flores made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, F.C. Sant Sabo's Cheng Le Xing made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! F.C. Sant Sabo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andreu Buenafuente in the 88th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Roberto Mata to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 5-0 after 89 minutes. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Cheng Le Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. F.C. Sant Sabo were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
