After 34 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loco Durazno was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arne Tönnberg who took care of the corner kick. Mats Nyström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Nyström in the 59th minute of play. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Marcelo Steven replaced İbrahim Efe Topdemir. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Joakim Haegg hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes, Colombia's Kevin Mastache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. With 72 minutes on the clock, Arne Tönnberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd minute, one of Golden Lions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Lions FC. Golden Lions FC:s Anders Lundqvist showed great skill when he stopped Kevin Mastache:s penalty. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Larpe in the 80th minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 97 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Bebben Johansson. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Golden Lions FC.
