Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Lα Sυв 21 defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Merexildo. The Lα Sυв 21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Merexildo should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Severiano Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Bartolome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Lα Sυв 21's Severiano Enekoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernesto Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Severiano Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 35th minute. Lα Sυв 21's Guido Bartolome got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Severiano Enekoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Enekoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The throw-in from Luo Feng in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Luo Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Severiano Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lα Sυв 21's Xiao Xiao got a free kick in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lα Sυв 21's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
