Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mats Nyström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joakim Haegg who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Rolando Noboa's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Joakim Haegg was beeing forced to shoot. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 11th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Golden Lions FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joakim Haegg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Loco Durazno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. When Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joakim Haegg who took care of the corner kick. Golden Lions FC's Joakim Haegg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Joschi Hook threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Joschi Hook threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 34 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Anders Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. The supporters of Peru booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Björkqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Arne Tönnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Durazno scored 1-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Tönnberg came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 87th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burç Tokhan in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Cosme Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
