Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Tiburones's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Victorino Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Domenec's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Amado Domenec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Amado Domenec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Hernan Naldo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Tiburones's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 28 minutes into the game, Tiburones's Amado Domenec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Amado Domenec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Amado Domenec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Domenec slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. If Amado Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Amado Domenec made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. Luis Honrio made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonel Bernaldo however managed to control. 62 minutes into the match, Amado Domenec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Domenec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mario Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Victorino Olayo made a huge save. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiburones's Hernan Naldo. But to his dismay, Hernan Naldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 73rd minute Amado Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Olayo having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Tiburones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Honrio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. Amado Domenec struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiburones. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tiburones's Amado Domenec in 98 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Camilo Freixa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tiburones fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bolivia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
