With a left leg Ken Kot saved Skarpa Ełk from getting behind. When La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ken Kot came out of the goal and Hans Otterlei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Cosa Nostra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Janusz Škarpa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Skarpa Ełk's Janusz Škarpa to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Delfino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 65th match minute, Skarpa Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Škarpa to maneuver through the defense. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Bartolo Nesor replaced Arnaldo Perpinya. La Cosa Nostra's Abelardo Alvarez was substituted for Jairo Boniel. La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen was substituted for Hans Otterlei. Skarpa Ełk's Ken Kot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Skarpa Ełk from getting a goal against them. Ken Kot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Nesor in the 96th minute of the match. Skarpa Ełk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
