Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) C. A. RIVER PLATE's Cosme Oalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. The corner led C. A. RIVER PLATE's Moises Isauro to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Freixa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Santiago Rodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Rompen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Aquiles Rompen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th match minute, C. A. RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Oalo to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Rodas came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant. But to his dismay, Alfredo Ferrant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hugo Villaverde charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Villaverde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes C. A. RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Villaverde. 27 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Rompen came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Oalo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Camilo Freixa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cosme Oalo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but Cosme Oalo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 31st minute. Aquiles Rompen succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a free kick in the 38th minute. C. A. RIVER PLATE's Cosme Oalo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Oalos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Camilo Freixa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Aquiles Rompen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. If Cosme Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Oalo came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. Aquiles Rompen took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Moises Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Rodas having to make a save. The C. A. RIVER PLATE fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when C. A. RIVER PLATE's Cosme Oalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cosme Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Rompen in the 80th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Oalo in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Rompen in the 92nd minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
