RIVER PLATE's Arnoldo Iratxo got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 11th minute of play forced C. A. RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Santiago Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Oalo. Cosme Oalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Rompen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Rompen in the 19th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Cosme Oalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. In the 27th minute, Cosme Oalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. RIVER PLATE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 31st minute, Aquiles Rompen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Rompen in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Alfonso in the 38th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Villaverde in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match, Aquiles Rompen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Demonde Jacobson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Cosme Oalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Rompen went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th match minute, C. A. RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Isauro to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Iratxo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Ciriaco Alfonso scored 10-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Alfonso scored 11-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Azevedo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. RIVER PLATE's Cosme Oalo. But to his dismay, Cosme Oalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. In the 92nd minute, Ciriaco Alfonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Rompen in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that C. A. RIVER PLATE were the better team. C. A. RIVER PLATE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
