Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 5th minute of play. Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Helwig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Helwig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Helwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Helwig came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Lambers during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Beetje Moe Re-United got a freekick which was hit by Martin Lambers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Edwin Helwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Beetje Moe Re-United got a freekick which was hit by Roland Kleiker. 40 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Edwin Helwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin Helwig saved Beetje Moe Re-United from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin Helwig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Helwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serge Schophuis to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Beetje Moe Re-United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Overmars to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Beetje Moe Re-United defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin Helwig. The Beetje Moe Re-United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin Helwig should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Beetje Moe Re-United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 62 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Edwin Helwig managed to make a qualified save. Beetje Moe Re-United's players were relieved. When Roger de Zaaijer came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Beetje Moe Re-United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger de Zaaijer couldn't finish the play. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Beetje Moe Re-United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Roland Kleiker hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Roland Kleiker got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edwin Helwig having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Schophuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
